Tulips Café was born from a passion and love of cooking.  A family business, Tulips has been a Pialligo icon for over 21 years. It originally started off as a spa shop, when the Burgess family took it over, transforming it into a cheery oasis of sunlit tables and quality home-cooked meals.

As the years have passed various members of the Burgess family have been found in the kitchen or serving customers. The third generation are often seen playing in the Tulips playground and big family birthday parties make a visit to Tulips a bit like visiting Grandma’s house

The Burgess family are firm believers in using natural products. They apply the philosophy “you are what you eat” to sourcing only the finest ingredients and all meals are made from scratch in the Tulips kitchen.

When Tulips began the idea was to make good, unpretentious comfort food and 21 years later, Tulips is still providing the winning combination of great food and great atmosphere.
